Luigi's 30th Anniversary at Nintendo World

It was pretty cool event. Still the same decorations from the Pikmin 3 launch and the Mario & Luigi Dream Team launch events. But people got to take pictures of Luigi, play NSLU in the store, more green lights are on the store, more Luigi stuff available to buy, gave away free Luigi hats & Mario Kart 8 flags, raffle tickets for winning a Luigi shirt(a green shirt with the "L" emblem & the Year of Luigi logo on the back), and they had a special Luigi Anniversary cake!

I was a little late for the event so I didn't get the free Luigi hat & Mario Kart 8 flag. However..... I actually won the Luigi shirt from a raffle ticket! Lucky me. I also had some free cake! As for the stuff I got, not to many:

-New Super Luigi U (retail version and GREEN BOX!!!)

-Free Luigi "L" shirt from winning on a raffle ticket

-Luigi Mug

So yeah, I took a few more photos & videos for the event. Not as much as the Dream Team event though since I've mostly taken photos of certain parts of the store that deals with Luigi like the Anniversary cake. I'll be uploading them very soon. Along with my three August artworks later after that(I've already finished one of them and got more progress done on the other two, so please be patient). 

As for the game, it's pretty fun and challenging. Well I've beaten the DLC version last month...I caved in and wanted to win that Luigi pin from Club Nintendo. The World Map is the same as New Super Mario Bros U but all of the levels are entirely new, short, fast paced, and have 100 seconds each(some seconds are added for boss fights). Luigi jumps higher than Mario in NSMBU and Luigi's traction is slippery just like in Super Mario Bros Lost Levels and the two Super Mario Galaxy games. Some Star Coins are also tricky to get/find as well. Mario is even replaced by Nabbit as a playable character in multiplayer who grabs power ups and doesn't get killed by enemies(but he does die from pits and lava however). Also, I like how Nintendo hid easter eggs based on Luigi on EVERY level like 8 bit Luigi sprites and a picture of Luigi on the background. I definitely recommend it for Luigi fans and Mario players who wants a challenge.  

Also what's pretty cool is I've actually went to the Nintendo World store for ALL 3 games that are promoted for the Year of Luigi(Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, and New Super Luigi U). Happy Year of Luigi everyone!"Luigi Time"!
